진짜 포스트말론은 그냥 개 멋있다. 

솔직히 한국에서 얘처럼 성공할 수 있는 애가 있을까?

나는 결단코 그 누구도 얘처럼 성공할 수 있다 생각하지 않는다. (세상이 뒤집어져도 절대 불가능할듯 ㅎ) 

 

그럴 수 밖에 없는 문화적인 구조가 너무나도 깊숙히 박혀 있기 때문에 그러한 요건들을 제거하지 않는다면 절대 불가능하다고 본다. 무엇보다 해외 문화에 대해 동경을 한다기 보다는 창의성, 인정, 그런 부분들이 불가능한 구조에 놓여있기 때문이다. 한국 내에서도 포스트말론이 아니라 하더라도 해외 아티스트들에 대해서 추앙하는 세력이 분명하게도 존재한다. 

 

하지만 실제로 그러한 이들에게 그저 칼을 겨누는 꼰대들이 있기 때문에. 그리고 삶이 안그래도 쉽지 않은데 맨날 쳐우는 발라드나 불러대는 애들이 있기 때문에 변화는 거의 불가능하지 않을까?

 

 

거두절미하고 이번에 나온 신곡 <Post Malone - Motley Crew>을 살펴보고자 한다, 이미 유튜버 이전에도 아티스트로 인정을 받아온 포스트말론의 시점들을 살펴보면 굉장히 독특하고 유닉한 음색과 콘텐츠 디렉팅 등 어느하나 빠짐이 없는 매력덩어리로 보여진다. 그리고 이번 곡은 Lyrical Lemonade & Dre London 을 통해서 또 다시 팬들에게 반드시 들어야 할 아름다운 선물을 하게 되었다.

그리고 재미없게도 이번 곡도 그냥 단순한 <돈자랑>에 그쳐서 그저 아쉽 아쉽 하다. 해외 뮤지션들의 가사들은 꽤나 자극적이고 따라하고 싶은? 그런 느낌이 강하게 들기도 하는데 포스트 말론은 성공한 이후에 다른 이들과 큰 차이 없이 돈자랑으로 곡을 뽑아내고 있어서 가사의 재미는 딱히 없다. 

 

다른 애들이랑 비슷한 수준에 그저 포스트 말론이 가진 고유의 음색으로 다 씹어먹는 느낌.
